I consider myself to be a beginner photographer, even though I have been taking pictures ever since I recieved my first camera (I can't quite remember how old I was then...8, 10?)... About 2 years ago I recieved my first digital camera, and this year I was able to get a bit of an upgrade. I don't own anything fancy, just a "cheap" point and shoot. I generally take about 150 pictures a week and if I am VERY lucky I might find 4 or 5 that I am happy with enough to post here. My photographic style is, what I call, my National Geographic style-basically I take a million pictures and am usually happy with 2 or 3. I would try and do it the "take the perfect picture right the first time" method, but most of my subjects are in motion or are changing rapidly. My favorite subjects to photograph are sunsets and storm clouds. I am finding that flowers are fun too. I will also photograph anyone who is willing to participate-this usually means I get lots of pictures of kids and cats. :) Ah well. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you find something you like.
